A Shared Milestone: Infinity Construction named finalist at the 2026 Urban Developer Awards for their Knoxfield Aged Care project.

We’re proud to see the Infinite Care Knoxfield project constructed by Infinity Constructions and designed by Cley Studio recognised as a finalist in the Development of the Year - Retirement, Aged Care and Seniors Living category at the Urban Developer Industry Excellence Awards 2026.

More than just an award nod, this recognition reflects something bigger. It shows what can happen when design, delivery and client vision are genuinely aligned from day one.

A project built on collaboration

Located in Knoxfield, around 33km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD, the project brings together a 176-bed residential aged care facility across five levels, alongside a separate five-storey respite building with 15 independent living apartments.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

This was a deeply collaborative, working closely with Infinite Care, Infinity Constructions, Connect PM, and the broader project team to deliver a cohesive, high-performing outcome.

From early design through to completion, the focus was on maintaining alignment, ensuring the original design intent translated clearly into the built form, without compromise.

Responding to a Changing Sector

Aged care is evolving, and so are expectations.

Projects like Knoxfield demonstrate a move towards more refined, community-focused environments, places that prioritise wellbeing without losing sight of operational realities. Integrating complex building services, compliance requirements and operational workflows required a highly coordinated approach. Through strong collaboration across all disciplines, the project delivers a result that feels resolved, efficient and human.

Being recognised by the The Urban Developer is a meaningful milestone, not just for the project, but for everyone involved. For us, it reinforces the value of working as one team, bringing together architecture, interiors and delivery into a single, cohesive process. When that alignment happens, the outcome speaks for itself.
